The founding
WHITE HAT SEO.org was founded on February 15th 2006 by Roger Balmer and David Turner. David Turner has over 10 years of SEO and Search Engine experience working for major companies before he joined Roger Balmer at his company as a equal Partner. Roger Balmer is known as the swiss search engine marketing pioneer and since his begining was fighting against Search Engine SPAM. Both, Roger and David, agreed that WHITE HAT SEO.org has to be free of charge for members and its visitors. WHITE HAT SEO.org is headquartered in Niederweningen, Switzerland.
WHITE HAT SEO.org will elect a board of 8 members no later then June 1st 2006 to insure independency and new services to its visitors and members.
Why WHITE HAT SEO.org
When we founded WHITE HAT SEO.org our main idea and goal was to secure Website Owners and Search Engines from BLACK HAT SEO's. There was no organization that would provide a similar service, at no cost for members and the web community. Knowing that we can't guarantee a better world or clean search engine indexes it was important to us to find a simple way that proofs ethical correct SEO- and SEM-work of serious SEO- or SEM-companies, no matter what size they may have.
